A trade-enhancing organization

A mission to globalize African brands.

Sprouts Africa is on a mission to grow Africa's share of global trade from 2% to 10% — empowering food and beauty brands to become retail-ready for international markets through training, shared manufacturing, and direct access to buyers.

Our mission

Increase Africa's participation in global trade.

"Africa accounts for less than 2% of global trade. We're building the systems, partnerships, and infrastructure to take that to 10%."

We work across three connected initiatives — an export accelerator, a shared manufacturing platform, and a retailer pledge — to give African food and beauty brands the end-to-end support needed to compete on global shelves.

The problem

Great products fail without the right systems.

African brands struggle to access global markets — not because of quality, but because of readiness. We're closing the gap.

  • 01Limited access to regulatory guidance and certification.
  • 02Gaps in product development and quality standards.
  • 03Weak brand positioning for international consumers.
  • 04Minimal access to buyers, distributors, and export channels.

Through trade, entrepreneurship, and food innovation, she is proving that vision, expertise, and purpose can create lasting impact on both African markets and global shelves.

Sprouts Africa is her next chapter — built in partnership with USAID and Prosper Africa to give African food and beauty brands the systems they need to take their place on international shelves.
